Concrete Effect Polished Plaster

Concrete Effect Polished Plaster

Posted in in Products

Another finish from our growing concrete collection of decorative plasters has helped a new clothing brand to achieve its desired “urban” image both on the walls as well as the shelves.

The new “Goods” store – open for business in the heart of Norwich city centre – has been renovated with a distressed grey lime plaster to give a contemporary look and feel.

“The client wanted a loose style with the plaster to reflect the urban feel of the clothing brand and to achieve an edge which would appeal to its young male customer base,” explained Creative Director Jason Ebers.

“We created a concrete look which was quite raw in its design and took the store away from a highly polished effect you might expect in a retail environment.”

As with all retail projects we undertake, time is of the essence and we were required to deliver to tight deadlines and on quick turnaround times. Jason said: “This adds to the pressure of a project, but it is a way of working we have become accustomed to.”

Ensuring we meet these time demands and still achieve a high-quality finish is made achievable by spending our time in the studio perfecting the look before we go to deliver.

On completion of the job, Jason said: “Norwich is a cool place and probably took me a bit by surprise; there are lots of nice bars, street art and buskers in the city centre so it was a great place to get creative and I would definitely return here socially.”
